Senior Legal Counsel – Employment and Privacy

About the role

ARRISE is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead employment and privacy matters across its global iGaming operations. The successful candidate will provide practical, timely legal advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on employment issues such as terminations, complaints, and flexible work arrangements.
• Advise on privacy compliance, monitor legislative changes, and liaise with regulators.
• Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts, policies, notices, and privacy documentation.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and analysis of case law and regulatory updates.
• Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support other departments as needed.
• Coordinate with external advisors and regulatory bodies to resolve legal issues.
• Build scalable legal processes, templates, and policies for the growing Legal Team.
• Maintain records of group policies and ensure internal and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of practising law with a focus on employment and privacy.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Deep knowledge of employment and privacy legislation in Malta or Gibraltar; multi‑jurisdictional experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
