Studio/Outside Broadcast Camera Operator

About the role

GBC is seeking a talented and adaptable Camera Operator to join its production team in Gibraltar. You will be at the heart of studio, EFP and Outside Broadcast productions, turning technical expertise into compelling television.

Key responsibilities

• Operate TV cameras across studio, EFP and Outside Broadcast productions.
• Collaborate closely with the Producer and Director to deliver high‑quality imagery.
• Execute camera moves, framing and shots with creativity and precision.
• Assist with Audio Controller duties, cues and programme communications.
• Set up and dismantle cameras, tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and related equipment.
• Maintain and position studio equipment, including autocue systems and monitors.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance programme quality.

Required profile

• Passion for camerawork and live production.
• Ability to work closely with production leadership.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• TV camera operation in studio, EFP and OB environments.
• Audio controller operation and programme cue handling.
• Setup and maintenance of studio equipment such as autocue systems, monitors, lighting and cabling.
