Compliance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Assistant to join our client’s Risk and Compliance team in Gibraltar. In this full‑time, office‑based position you will help onboard new clients and ensure the business adheres to AML, KYC and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Risk and Compliance team in meeting regulatory obligations.
• Conduct onboarding activities, including KYC and due‑diligence checks.
• Assist with AML/KYC monitoring and periodic reviews of the existing customer base.
• Provide administrative assistance to maintain compliance with AML/KYC policies.
• Contribute to team projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in a financial services or similarly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Gibraltar AML regulations and KYC/due‑diligence processes (preferred).
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time, onsite role in Gibraltar.
