Data Engineer

About the role

Patrianna is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate advanced data systems that transform raw player data into actionable insights. You will enable personalized gaming experiences for millions while supporting fraud detection and monetization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop batch and real‑time data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain APIs for data sharing across teams and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Create Terraform infrastructure‑as‑code and use Datastream for CDC ingestion.
• Design medallion architecture with Dataform and dbt, optimizing BigQuery and ClickHouse models.
• Construct Airflow DAGs for data imports/exports, including monitoring and alerting for data integrity.
• Ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance and uphold data governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Bash, Git, SQL, and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow, and Datastream.
• Real‑time processing experience with Kafka, PySpark, or Flink.
• Proven ETL, CI/CD, and API development capabilities.
