Finance Director – Gibraltar

About the role

BVGroup is seeking a Finance Director to lead its finance function across multiple jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, the UK, the Isle of Man and Hungary. The role is based on‑site in Gibraltar and offers a strategic position within a fast‑growing online betting and gaming group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and continuous improvement of all financial reporting, ensuring timely and decision‑useful output.
• Oversee the consolidation of profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and liquidity positions.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and quarterly re‑forecasting, with a focus on balance‑sheet health.
• Provide strategic leadership to Financial Control, Treasury and PSP Reconciliation teams, setting priorities and performance expectations.
• Develop talent, succession plans and career pathways within the finance function.
• Ensure compliance with finance‑related regulatory, OECD and tax obligations across all jurisdictions.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and drive finance‑technology integration and transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to company strategy by providing financial analysis and guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in multi‑jurisdictional environments.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow processes.
• Experience building high‑performing finance teams and fostering talent development.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, tax and compliance requirements in the gambling sector.
