Financial Controller & Regulatory Reporting Officer (Gibraltar)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller & Regulatory Reporting Officer to lead finance for our Gibraltar entity and oversee the ARQ UK cost centre. Reporting to the Group Controller, you will be the primary finance contact for two entities, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close for Gibraltar, preparing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain the chart of accounts, classify transactions and manage inter‑company reconciliations following the Transfer Pricing Policy.
• Prepare statutory accounts, coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with Gibraltar regulatory reporting requirements.
• Oversee financial operations of ARQ UK as a cost centre, performing monthly cost reviews, variance analysis and budget monitoring.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for both entities, building financial models to support decision‑making.
• Design and maintain internal controls, enforce group accounting policies and act as the main liaison with the outsourced accounting provider.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional with solid experience in IFRS reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, inter‑company transactions and cost‑centre accounting.
• Comfortable working in a lean, high‑ownership environment across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
