Head of Customer Due Diligence

About the role

DAZN Bet is seeking a senior leader to own and evolve its global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) function. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee KYC, Enhanced Due Diligence, source of funds/wealth verification and ongoing monitoring across all regulated markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end CDD operations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery within service level agreements.
• Build and manage a geographically distributed CDD team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Standardise KYC and EDD processes into a unified global framework, simplifying decision‑making.
• Guarantee compliance with AML legislation, licence conditions, internal policies and the company’s risk appetite.
• Own CDD performance reporting, providing visibility on volumes, quality and emerging risk trends.
• Partner with Product and Technology to design CDD tools, automation and AI solutions that boost efficiency and scalability.
• Prepare the CDD operating model for new market launches, ensuring regulatory readiness.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in customer due diligence, KYC, or AML functions within regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of AML legislation, licence requirements and risk management principles.
• Track record of building and scaling high‑performing, distributed teams.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with AML, Safer Gambling, Payments, Compliance, Legal and Product teams.
