HR and Office Manager

About the role

R‑NAV is looking for an experienced HR & Office Manager to join its Gibraltar team. This hybrid role blends strategic HR leadership with day‑to‑day office administration, supporting a fast‑growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycle: write job descriptions, advertise, shortlist, interview and conduct reference checks.
• Oversee employment contracts, probation periods, work permits and lead onboarding for new hires.
• Act as first point of contact for staff matters, fostering a positive and engaged workplace.
• Maintain HR policies, the Staff Handbook and absence management processes.
• Administer employee benefits and liaise with external providers.
• Coordinate staff training, conduct exit interviews and analyse results.
• Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures, seeking external advice when needed.
• Ensure compliant HR records and support payroll with accurate data.
• Oversee day‑to‑day office facilities, coordinate maintenance and manage local vendors.

Required profile

• HR qualification or degree with at least 3 years of HR experience, including management or advisory responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of Gibraltar employment legislation and Employment Board requirements.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
