HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a leading legal and financial services organisation in Gibraltar. Reporting directly to the COO, you will own the end‑to‑end HR and payroll function, ensuring compliance and delivering a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR and payroll support across the business.
• Advise managers and staff on HR policies, employment law and best practice.
• Manage employee relations, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, probation, off‑boarding and exit processes.
• Process monthly payroll, administer benefits and pensions.
• Coordinate performance review cycles and learning & development initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems, generate management information and reports.
• Support salary review processes and manage the HR budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role, preferably at HR Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and payroll legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior managers.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
