IT Field Engineer

About the role

The IT Lab is seeking a motivated IT Field Engineer to deliver onsite technical support to clients across Gibraltar. You will work directly with customers, installing and maintaining hardware, software and network solutions while ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for workstations, servers, networking equipment and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and security policies.
• Assist with firewall configuration, networking and cyber‑security implementations.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management and preventative maintenance.
• Participate in project deployments, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tickets, configurations and client environments.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding issues and resolutions.

Required profile

• Motivated and professional IT practitioner with a hands‑on approach.
• Ability to work independently onsite across multiple industries.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
