Legal Counsel - IP & Brand Protection

About the role

The Legal Counsel – IP & Brand Protection will safeguard ARRISE’s intellectual property assets, manage IP‑related legal matters and provide strategic guidance across the group. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and external counsel to protect trademarks, designs, copyrights and patents worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s trademark and design portfolios, including clearance reviews and registration filings.
• Oversee patent portfolio activities and ensure timely renewals and responses.
• Coordinate IP litigation, liaise with external counsel and monitor legal proceedings.
• Draft and review IP‑related documents such as trademark applications, licensing and co‑existence agreements.
• Develop and maintain document templates, guidelines and streamlined drafting processes.
• Monitor online platforms and market channels for potential IP infringement, gather evidence and conduct investigations.
• Provide legal advice on trademark, design and copyright issues, including risk assessments and opposition strategies.
• Contribute to the overall IP strategy and support special projects or legal research as required.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with an active licence or warrant to practice law in the EU or UK.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyrights, designs and patents.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven capability to conduct thorough investigations and gather evidential material.
• Proficiency in legal research, case management and document preparation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive IP information.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with a focus on delivering results within set timelines and budgets.
• Industry experience in iGaming or related sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
