People Partner

About the role

Midnite is looking for a People Partner to own the employee experience for its Gibraltar office. You will work closely with managers and leaders to build high‑performing teams while ensuring compliance with local employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, delivering a seamless experience.
• Partner with managers to coach, develop, and support high‑performing teams.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, providing pragmatic, commercially‑focused advice while ensuring compliance with Gibraltar legislation.
• Lead continuous improvement of People processes, policies, and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
• Drive performance, engagement, and development through goal setting, feedback, and performance conversations.
• Use People data and employee feedback to identify trends and influence business decisions.
• Champion Midnite’s Tenets and embed them throughout the employee journey.
• Leverage AI, automation, and technology to increase the efficiency of People practices.

Required profile

• Experience in a broad People, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast‑growing, scale‑up or technology business.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with managers and coach them through People challenges.
• Strong employee‑relations background with a balance of commercial thinking and solid employment‑law knowledge.
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo, adopt new technology, and seek smarter ways of working.
• Excellent communication style—kind, honest, and direct.
