Senior Compliance Manager

About the role

Zego Insurance Limited is expanding its compliance function and seeks a Senior Compliance Manager to lead hands‑on compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting and policy maintenance across its motor insurance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, including thematic reviews and control effectiveness assessments.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory returns and ad‑hoc submissions to the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) and support FCA‑related reporting.
• Draft, review and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring version control and effective communication.
• Support Consumer Duty and conduct risk monitoring, including fair value assessments and product governance obligations.
• Contribute to MGA oversight by reviewing compliance reporting and tracking delegated underwriting authority conditions.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess impact and drive timely implementation.
• Develop and deliver compliance training on financial crime, data protection and conduct risk.
• Act as the compliance point of contact for internal and external audits and prepare board and committee reports.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and apply sound judgement across a broad regulatory landscape.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder briefings and training delivery.
• Experience in insurance compliance, regulatory reporting or related functions is preferred.
