Senior Digital Workplace Engineer

About the role

BVGroup is looking for a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer to design, deliver and support the technologies that power its modern workplace. You will work across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity services, virtualization and cloud platforms to keep the digital environment secure, reliable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage endpoint management with Microsoft Intune, including device provisioning, compliance policies and app deployment for Windows, macOS and ChromeOS.
• Administer identity and access management (Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO, authentication security controls).
• Support virtualization platforms – VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V and Azure Virtual Desktop – including migrations and modernisation.
• Provision, migrate and maintain Azure infrastructure and critical cloud workloads.
• Manage core infrastructure services like DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/NPS, monitoring platforms and data‑centre operations.
• Ensure compliance, security and resilience through patch management, vulnerability remediation and audit readiness.
• Provide 3rd‑line support, incident resolution and vendor coordination for digital workplace services.
• Drive automation and process improvements using PowerShell, Power Platform and related tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365 or IT Operations engineering role at a senior or 3rd‑line level.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure services and core networking/DNS/DHCP.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality documentation and support complex incident resolution.
