Senior Legal Counsel – Employment and Privacy

About the role

We are a leading iGaming operator seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert advice on employment and privacy matters. The role is hybrid and will support our teams across Malta, Gibraltar and the UK, ensuring compliance with local regulations while delivering practical legal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on employee relations, terminations, complaints and privacy compliance.
• Draft, review and update employment contracts, policies, privacy notices and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel and internal stakeholders on employment and data‑privacy issues.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates and policies to support the growing business.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience specialising in employment and privacy law.
• Strong understanding of UK, Maltese and Gibraltar employment and data‑protection legislation.
• Proven ability to deliver clear, pragmatic legal advice in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
