Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Platform Engineer at evoke you will lead complex technical work across shared platforms that power some of the world’s most trusted betting and gaming brands. You will shape designs, influence architecture and raise engineering standards while supporting a platform that processes 500 online bets per second and handles 160 TB of data daily.

Key responsibilities

• Implement observability, security controls, automated testing and disaster‑recovery plans to ensure platform reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, efficient software deployments across multiple teams.
• Design and develop scalable container orchestration and data‑storage platforms supporting business growth.
• Provision and manage EKS clusters, Kubernetes add‑ons and the broader container ecosystem.
• Support and resolve production incidents, participating in on‑call rotations to maintain service availability.

Required profile

• Commitment to responsible gambling and the company’s ethos.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS networking, compute, storage, security and container services.
• Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD/FluxCD.
• Strong observability and monitoring skills with tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience working in agile environments and leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
