SEPA Scheme Test Lead

About the role

The SEPA Scheme Test Lead will drive testing activities for payment scheme initiatives, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, meet regulatory requirements, and are ready for release. This role sits at the intersection of technical testing, governance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies for SEPA and related payment schemes.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End‑to‑End (E2E) testing cycles.
• Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and monitor SOX controls and RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.
• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to guarantee release readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in testing complex payment scheme projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
