Philanthropy Grants Coordinator and Analyst

About the role

The Philanthropy Grants Coordinator and Analyst will support the Gibraltar team, the head office and the oversight office for our global charities. You will analyse donations, produce monthly reports and ensure a consistent grant assessment process across all offices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing donations to track spend, progress against milestones and impact.
• Collate monthly reports from all offices and deliver clear updates to senior managers.
• Roll out consistent grant assessment processes worldwide.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and follow‑up of funded projects to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate delivery of local initiatives and maintain accurate records of donations, grants and commitments.
• Analyse grant data, partner reports and financial information to identify trends, risks and issues.
• Develop standard grant assessment templates, guidance and procedures with senior management.
• Assist with implementation and monitoring of the in‑house Grant Management System and due‑diligence on partners.
• Prepare board papers, trustee reports and ad‑hoc updates for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in philanthropy, grant‑making, charity finance or monitoring and evaluation.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet monthly reporting deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and solid financial acumen.
