Lead Frontend Engineer

About the role

Patrianna is looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to drive technical excellence and architectural decisions for high‑performance web solutions that power social gaming experiences. You will shape the frontend strategy, mentor the team, and ensure that AI‑enhanced workflows deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical strategy and architecture for scalable CMS‑based applications.
• Optimize frontend infrastructure and improve Core Web Vitals across multiple products.
• Lead code reviews, enforce high standards for quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Communicate technical concepts and progress to product owners and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Continuously refine development processes to boost team productivity.
• Collaborate with remote product management teams to deliver customer‑facing web applications.

Required profile

• Strong engineering judgment with a track record of architectural ownership.
• Comfortable working in AI‑driven development environments.
• Experience leading technical teams in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js (App Router).
• Extensive experience with internationalization (i18n) for large‑scale apps and integration with translation platforms such as Crowdin.
• Proficiency with monorepo tools like Nx or Turborepo.
• Hands‑on experience integrating third‑party APIs, analytics, and A/B testing solutions.
• Proven ability to implement SEO optimizations and PageSpeed improvements (CLS, INP, etc.).
• Strong UI/UX skills using Figma and building responsive, consumer‑facing web applications.
