IT Technician (Gibraltar)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Technician to take day‑to‑day ownership of our infrastructure and end‑user support across three offices. Based in Gibraltar, you will also provide remote assistance to colleagues in Spain and Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server estate, Active Directory and design/roll‑out Group Policy.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services – Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint and Teams – including permissions and governance.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for desktop, imaging, software deployment and hardware troubleshooting.
• Own telephony and mobile device estate – provisioning, contracts, enrolment and troubleshooting.
• Maintain firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, patching and remote access across sites.
• Document infrastructure, configurations and processes to ensure knowledge sharing.
• Support the Administration team with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams).
• Proven desktop support for users of varying technical confidence.
• Practical knowledge of network security – firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection and patch management.
• Experience supporting remote sites and managing mobile/telephony estates.
• Clear written English and ability to document work.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD‑102, AZ‑800, MS‑102) are a plus.
