Project Architect

About the role

GC Architects is seeking a Project Architect to lead the design and delivery of major projects in Gibraltar. The role offers the chance to work within an established practice handling a diverse portfolio across commercial, residential, leisure and healthcare sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Ensure projects comply with current British and European standards.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets and quality control.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, preferably in a senior or project lead role.
• Strong technical background with proven project delivery capability.
• Experience working on large‑scale public or private projects.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gibraltar and collaborate with local and international consultants.
