24/7 Operations Engineer (NOC)

About the role

We are looking for a 24/7 Operations Engineer to join our Network Operations Center in Gibraltar. The role involves monitoring the health of our betting and gaming platforms, responding to incidents in real time, and ensuring seamless service delivery across a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operational health using Grafana dashboards, email alerts and over 100 Slack channels.
• Identify, assess and respond to incidents promptly to minimise customer and business impact.
• Act as the primary communication bridge between technical, operational and business teams during incidents.
• Triage alerts, assign severity, and escalate to the appropriate owners.
• Provide clear, timely incident updates and produce detailed shift hand‑over reports.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and initial analysis before escalation.
• Maintain awareness of a wide range of systems to proactively spot potential issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, managing escalations on behalf of internal teams.
• Ensure continuous coverage across nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a monitoring or NOC environment.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing and incident‑management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a shift‑based schedule.
