Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer

About the role
Revolut is seeking a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to strengthen its financial crime and AML framework. You will work closely with the FinCrime team and senior managers to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Define, develop and document the Financial Crime and AML programme to meet regulator and management reporting needs.
- Collaborate with the FinCrime team and senior stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks.
- Prioritise resources and actions required to control identified risks.
- Set identification and verification standards for customer onboarding and AML compliance.
- Manage the suspicious activity reporting process both internally and with external authorities.
- Train staff to recognise financial crime, escalate suspicious activity and file regulator reports.
- Oversee filings with the local financial investigation unit.
- Partner with Product Owners to embed compliance requirements into product development.
Required profile
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a financial crime role within financial services.
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF laws in Gibraltar, GFSC Distributed Ledger Technology regulations and other relevant local rules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
