IT Technician – Infrastructure & End‑User Support

About the role

We are seeking an IT Technician to own the day‑to‑day infrastructure and end‑user support for our three‑office financial services business. Based in Gibraltar, you will work on‑site with the local team while also providing remote assistance to colleagues in other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server estate, Active Directory and design/roll‑out Group Policy.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint and Teams.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line desktop support across three countries, handling imaging, software deployment and hardware troubleshooting.
• Own the telephony and mobile device estate – provisioning, contracts, enrolment and troubleshooting.
• Maintain network security: firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, patching and remote access.
• Keep infrastructure, configuration and process documentation up‑to‑date.
• Support the Administration team with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills (Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, Teams).
• Proven desktop support experience for users of varying technical confidence.
• Practical knowledge of firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection and patch management.
• Experience supporting remote sites and clear written English documentation skills.
