Assistant Manager – Insurance Audit – Gibraltar

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Financial Services Audit team in Gibraltar. You will lead the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements, manage stakeholder relationships, and support the development of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit fieldwork for financial statement, technology, and regulatory/ESG audits.
• Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
• Project‑manage audit delivery, including timelines, team briefings, and quality reviews.
• Maintain regular communication with managers, senior managers, directors, and partners on audit progress.
• Prepare reports for senior management and audit committees of audited entities.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for audited entities.

Required profile

• Significant audit experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm.
• Current professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
• Experience managing small teams and mentoring junior staff.
