Customer Assistant – Market Street & Café

About the role

We are seeking friendly, reliable individuals to join our team as Customer Assistants on Market Street and in our café. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, supporting customers across the store and café to ensure they receive the products and service they need, when they need it.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor and at the café, answering queries and providing product information.
• Maintain tidy and well‑stocked shelves, ensuring displays are attractive and compliant with safety standards.
• Operate café equipment safely, follow hygiene and food‑handling procedures.
• Support cash handling and point‑of‑sale activities when required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and keep the store running smoothly.

Required profile

• Helpful, friendly attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Enjoys staying active and working hands‑on in a busy environment.
• Comfortable following structured routines and safety processes.
• Willingness to work across different store areas, including the café.
