Head of Finance – Remote iGaming

About the role

Our client, a founder‑led iGaming operator active in both B2B and B2C, is looking for a hands‑on Head of Finance to bring the finance function in‑house. This fully remote position reports directly to the COO and works closely with the founders, offering the chance to shape a finance department from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Transition the finance function from an external corporate service provider to an internal team while retaining the CSP for sign‑offs, audits and regulatory guidance.
• Review, improve and maintain the chart of accounts to best‑practice standards.
• Design, implement and own financial reporting processes, controls and dashboards.
• Oversee and quality‑check the work performed by the external CSP.
• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including accurate and timely payment processing.
• Establish finance best practices suitable for a lean, fast‑moving iGaming business operating across multiple jurisdictions.
• Navigate obligations of both the Cyprus and Gibraltar entities, adapting to the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Partner with the COO and founders to provide clear financial visibility and strategic input when needed.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional comfortable with both detailed execution and C‑level advisory.
• Proven ability to build and own finance functions in fast‑growing environments.
• Strong understanding of multi‑jurisdictional finance and regulatory requirements, especially in Cyprus and Gibraltar.
• Hands‑on mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and execute daily tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
