Head of Operations – Lead Operational Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Operations to own and evolve the end‑to‑end operating model for Sovereign Trust (Gibraltar) Limited. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and shape how the business delivers service, manages risk and drives revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior Managers, Client Relationship Managers and Administrators.
• Own service delivery against Board‑approved risk appetites and ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance.
• Identify and capture revenue opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
• Implement a new workflow system and drive continuous improvement through a structured Quality Control framework and Lessons‑Learnt process.
• Use management information, forecasting and capacity planning to keep the team ahead of demand.

Required profile

• Senior operational leadership experience, preferably in financial services or another regulated, service‑focused industry.
• Strong people‑management, change‑management and risk‑management capabilities.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work in a smaller, close‑knit business environment.
• Eligibility to work in Gibraltar; cross‑border candidates from Spain must hold or be applying for Spanish residency.
