Head of Sportsbook Performance

About the role

Midnite is looking for a Head of Sportsbook Performance to lead margin optimisation and drive profitability across its sportsbook platform. Based in Gibraltar, you will work at the intersection of trading, product and commercial teams to turn data into actionable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own sportsbook margin performance and optimisation initiatives.
• Diagnose structural leakage across cohorts, markets and products.
• Define and prioritise a margin optimisation roadmap.
• Review pricing, limits and stake factor frameworks.
• Assess and optimise promotional and generosity mechanics.
• Partner with Risk, Commercial and Product teams to implement improvements.
• Establish performance reporting and governance frameworks.
• Manage and develop a Trading Quant.
• Define tooling and platform improvements with Engineering.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve workflows.

Required profile

• Deep experience in sportsbook trading or performance roles.
• Strong understanding of margin drivers and optimisation levers.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial impact.
• Highly analytical with strong diagnostic capability.
• Strong commercial judgement balancing margin and growth.
• Comfortable influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Clear communicator translating data into action.
• High ownership mindset with bias for action.
