Head of Tax and External Reporting

About the role

The Head of Tax and External Reporting will lead the Finance Tax, SaaS and Automation team, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all tax and regulatory returns across multiple jurisdictions. Based in Gibraltar, the role combines tax expertise with a focus on finance automation and AI adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize direct and indirect taxes, manage corporation tax, gaming taxes, VAT and POCT filings in the UK, Ontario, Ireland, Gibraltar and the Isle of Man.
• Lead finance‑related regulatory compliance, working with compliance and other stakeholders.
• Own transfer pricing relationships, intercompany invoicing and allocation of shared resources.
• Prepare year‑end financial statements, regulator returns and audit files for all group companies.
• Oversee payroll, bonus accruals, tax calculations and salary control accounts for employees and consultants.
• Implement corporate structure changes and manage company secretarial filings.
• Represent Finance in SaaS transactions, manage SaaS onboarding, support and revenue reconciliations.
• Evaluate finance systems, drive automation initiatives and promote AI adoption across the finance function.
