Junior Marketing Compliance Officer

About the role

Midnite is looking for a Junior Marketing Compliance Officer to join its fast‑moving compliance team in Gibraltar. You will work closely with Marketing to ensure all advertising, promotions and social content meet UK gambling advertising standards while keeping the business agile.

Key responsibilities

• Review marketing materials across social media, CRM, digital ads, promotions, sponsorships and other campaigns for regulatory compliance.
• Support the marketing approval process, maintain clear records and audit trails.
• Develop working knowledge of the CAP and BCAP Codes, Gambling Commission requirements and ASA guidance.
• Identify potential issues such as under‑18 appeal, misleading claims, promotional terms, and responsible‑gambling requirements.
• Assist in reviewing athlete, influencer and sponsorship content with heightened regulatory risk.
• Monitor ASA rulings and regulatory developments, translating lessons into future marketing practice.
• Collaborate with Marketing to find compliant solutions rather than simply rejecting ideas.
• Escalate high‑risk or unusual campaigns to senior compliance colleagues.
• Maintain compliance guidance, approval logs, risk records and related documentation.

Required profile

• Interest in gambling compliance and marketing regulation.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and gradually take on more complex reviews.
• Effective communication skills to explain compliance requirements to marketers.
