Quantity Surveyor – On-site in Gibraltar

About the role

The company is seeking a full‑time Quantity Surveyor to join its on‑site team in Gibraltar. You will be responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities, supporting tender processes and delivering accurate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and related documentation.
• Support tender preparation, evaluate bids and assist in contract administration.
• Monitor project budgets, implement cost‑control measures and produce regular cost reports for stakeholders.
• Identify variations, risks and cost‑effective solutions in collaboration with project managers, engineers and contractors.
• Value works, prepare interim valuations and final accounts.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Strong cost planning, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Familiarity with standard construction contracts and basic contract administration.
• Professional membership or progress towards membership of a recognised body such as RICS (advantageous).

Required skills

• Preparation and review of BOQ documentation.
• Cost control and cost reporting using industry software.
• Advanced use of MS Excel for cost analysis.
• Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
