Private Driver / Chauffeur

About the role

Patrianna, a fast-scaling product development company in Gibraltar, is looking for a private driver to transport senior team members, executives and visitors across Gibraltar and the surrounding areas. The work covers meetings and appointments, airport transfers and cross-border journeys into Spain. The driver must be professional, discreet, punctual and dependable.

Key responsibilities

• Drive senior team members and executives to meetings, offices, appointments and other destinations, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
• Manage airport transfers, including tracking flights and adapting to delays or changes in arrival times.
• Plan efficient routes around traffic, border queues and changing schedules, using good local knowledge and initiative.
• Keep the vehicle in excellent condition, clean, fuelled, serviced and road-legal.
• Provide a professional and welcoming experience for executives, clients and visitors, often being one of the first people they meet.
• Communicate clearly with the team, including via Slack, and flag delays, issues or changes early.
• Handle last-minute changes calmly and professionally.

Required profile

• Full, clean driving licence and a strong track record of safe, confident driving.
• Fluency in English and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a professional, private, executive or chauffeur capacity is highly beneficial; additional professional driving qualifications are a bonus.
• Exceptional reliability and punctuality.
• Strong knowledge of Gibraltar and the surrounding areas of southern Spain, including key routes and border crossings, or the willingness to learn them quickly.
• Professional, discreet and approachable manner with senior executives and visitors.
• Good judgement and a calm head under pressure, and the ability to work independently.
