Head of UK Media Strategy & Planning

About the role

Midnite is seeking a Head of UK Media Strategy & Planning to lead the deployment of marketing investment across channels, markets, and time horizons. Based in Gibraltar, this senior role sits at the centre of the Growth organisation and will shape a commercially‑led media investment capability that drives long‑term business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the UK media strategy across online and offline channels, managing significant media budgets and commercial investment decisions.
• Build strong relationships with media agencies, platform partners and cross‑functional teams, collaborating with the Head of Integrated Marketing Planning.
• Define budget allocation across channels, products, campaigns, audiences and markets.
• Lead annual, quarterly and rolling media planning cycles, translating growth targets into actionable media investment strategies.
• Develop frameworks focused on incremental and true business contribution.
• Partner with Analytics and Data Science on MMM, attribution, forecasting and testing methodologies.
• Support international market launch and scaling strategies, aligning media investment with broader commercial priorities.
• Improve forecasting quality, planning sophistication and operational consistency across Growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media strategy, performance marketing or growth planning functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large media budgets and drive growth in regulated markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in media mix modelling and attribution.
