Banking Data & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Banking Data & Compliance Manager will lead account onboarding, regulatory compliance and data governance for a growing Family Office. Reporting to the Director of Banking & Operations, the role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure robust banking processes and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead bank account opening, maintenance, amendment, review and closure across private, retail and credit card providers.
• Oversee regulatory compliance for FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, AML/KYC and related tax reporting.
• Own and maintain banking and entity master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity.
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, standardised processes and scalable data‑management solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience opening and maintaining private banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of private and retail banking products, FATCA/CRS, MiFID II and AML/KYC frameworks.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and external advisers in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (highly desirable).
• Experience with Dataverse, Power BI or Power Platform solutions.
• Strong Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
