Senior Manager, Restructuring

About the role

Kroll is seeking an ambitious Senior Manager for its Restructuring practice in Gibraltar. The role involves working on high‑profile insolvency, restructuring and cross‑border assignments across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑profile insolvency and restructuring assignments, investigations and complex cross‑border matters.
• Manage engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, liquidations, valuations and corporate advisory.
• Support regulatory and advisory projects for insurers and other financial services entities.
• Draft detailed affidavits, expert reports and other formal court documents.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to best‑practice development.
• Develop client relationships and drive local business development initiatives.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, budgets and profitability while ensuring risk and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Professional qualification from an internationally recognised institution.
• 7‑8 years recent experience in insolvency, restructuring or forensic investigations, preferably with offshore exposure.
• Experience with insurance companies, captives, brokers, reinsurers or regulators is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
