Assistant Accountant

About the role

This is a full‑time, office‑based Assistant Accountant position located in Gibraltar. The role supports a successful insurance company with a focus on accurate financial reporting and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile sales bordereaux for various insurance lines.
• Perform general accounting tasks such as accruals, pre‑payments, reconciliations and management account preparation under supervision.
• Collate and report team outputs to external stakeholders in a timely manner.

Required profile

• AAT qualified with at least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Must reside in Gibraltar or Southern Spain and hold an EU or UK passport.

Required skills

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable manipulating large data sets.
• Familiar with accounting software and all elements of MS Office.

What we offer

• Salary between £30,000 and £34,000 per year, based on experience.
