Growth Manager, Paid Media

About the role

GiveDirectly is expanding its paid media spend to double new donor acquisition by 2027. As Growth Manager, Paid Media you will own the end‑to‑end paid acquisition strategy for Individual Giving, working across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok and emerging platforms while collaborating with the VP of Marketing on upper‑funnel media buys.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a paid digital fundraising strategy that drives one‑time and monthly donor growth across multiple platforms.
• Manage daily optimization of paid spend, monitor cost‑per‑acquisition, and reallocate budget based on performance data.
• Design and run multivariable test‑and‑learn programs covering creative, audience, messaging and landing pages.
• Build and maintain attribution, UTM tracking and performance dashboards that integrate campaign, website and CRM data.
• Report bi‑weekly on budget utilization, campaign performance and forecasting to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of growth or performance marketing experience with a proven record of meeting conversion or revenue targets.
• Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M per year and making data‑driven scaling decisions.
• Comfortable working independently without agency support and able to own projects from ideation to evaluation.
• Strong written communication, creative direction skills and an eye for graphic design.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and emerging paid platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma or Canva for ad creative design.
• Experience with tracking and attribution tools such as WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk and Ahrefs.
• Ability to build UTM tracking, performance dashboards and forecasting models.
